This week, in dedication to getting this show on the road, I have chosen some sites that have helped along the way. Technically and inspirationally, thank you.
- Natalie Jost’s article on customizing BigCartel continues to be of amazing value. For anyone embarking on a Big Cartel project, I recommend reading her blog and this article. You can buy her goods at her store, Olive Manna. Click around a bit and you’ll find her graphic prints for sale on melamine plates and fabric as well.
- Magpie & Rye sell lovely little things of a delicacy that makes me feel just a little barbaric. That aside, after trying at least four different ways of setting up this little blog, their Notebook setup helped me find a functional way.
- Quince & Co. is what I would consider one of the most intelligent fiber craft start ups on the web today. They have the huge advantage of being longtime industry professionals while also maintaining an inviting, small-scale personality. They give insight, clarity and focus to their product and present it just so it’s impossible to resist. Bravas!
- Mozilla’s Web Developer Toolbar and Firefly for Firefox are essential to keeping this site in shape.
- To the following blogs I perused and came back to many many times during the last two weeks: Alexandra at Moonstitches, Brittni at Paper n Stitch, Carrie Strine, the contemplations and work of Peter Nencini, and Things Organized Neatly.
